Check out the handmade necklaces we have. They are made locally by Good Golly Designs. The peace necklaces are great for tweens (don't they think they invented it?) These necklaces are simple and go with anything. They are priced from $8 to $12 so you can have several We have more styles at my booth at One of a Kind, 783 Whitlock Ave. in Marietta across the street from Gabriel's. Did you know the owner of Gabriel's is Paula Dean's cousin? Neither did I.

We are also monogramming galvanized buckets ( $10 and $12) and Christmas ornaments ($8). These make great teacher gifts or secret Santa. Quick turn around on these.
I am also doing home parties. If you are interested, just e-mail me at kittywhampus@live.com. Have a party and get some of your Christmas gifts for FREE! Dates are filling up, so call.
Now that school is back in session, life gets back on schedule.

Mart

We went to the BIG mart on Saturday. We saw lots and there was lots more too see. We did find some great products. We especially like a factory sealed glass. Look at the products in the next post. We also found a supplier for acrylic products and a new way to monogram. We are excited. More news later. We have ordered some new lunch totes too. Come see us at One of a Kind at 783 Whitlock in Marietta or on the website, kittywhampus.com

Look at these!

We found a great company owned by the cutest girl who started this business when she was a senior in college. Makes me feel like a slacker.

One of the things we don't like about two piece tumblers is that they are not dishwasher safe and sometimes the insert slips. Well, these are safe to put in your dishwasher (if I can't put it in there, I don't want it). Megan especially likes the one that says carpool queen because that is her job at school. This year she'll have a bullhorn in one hand and her cottiecup in the other. We can monogram them on the outside. We also can get all the sorority letters too. We have hot drink cup with the pop top and cold or hot cups with clear liner. Including monogram, these will be $20.

Opening Day

Opening day went well. Thanks to all to attended. The hottest products were the market baskets, pictured on the left. Our line of custom jewelry was very well received. The other hot item was the eco-friendly shopping totes. They are about the size of a plastic grocery bag with handles that fit over the store bag holder, but fold up to 5x3 so they fit in the bottom of your purse. People were buying 3 or more at a time. We will have some fall and Christmas designs in August.

We will also be offering college colors waterproof mailbox bows in the fall and will have fall and Christmas ones too.
I couldn't have done any of this without my daughters and husband. They are the best.

Went to the mart yesterday with all three of my daughters, also known as the board of directors for Kittywhampus. . I must say it was much more pleasant than back to school shopping many, many years ago. Megan and Molly found these purses and immediately decided they NEEDED them. The larger bag is 10 by 12 and the green smaller one is 12 by 7.5 inches. The large is $24 plus monogramming and the smaller is $22. The smaller comes in a variety of colors: green, yellow, pink and tan. The larger comes in brown and black.

buttons

Just a fun touch for your bag or purse. Add an initial button. They come in 2 sizes 1.5 inches for $6 and 2.5 inches for $7. Add these when you can't or don't want to monogram. You can use two small and a large to form your monogram. I can get almost any plain color fabric and have lots of fun prints. Check out the diaper bags in this post. We used a small black polka dot on the strap of the large polka dot bag. Too cute.

Ballerinas

Just the right thing for your little or not so little ballerina. Black, pink or black checked. They are all lined and have zippered pockets inside and out. These can be monogrammed. Monogramming is an additional $6
The backpack is 11x13 and sells for $22
Garment bag is 23x19 and sells for $22
Duffle, 2 styles round bottom and flat bottom, is 18x9 and sells for $22

Babies

Molly and I went to the Mart yesterday and discovered the best looking diaper bags. The diaper bags can't be monogrammed, but you can add a cute button with an initial that adds just the right sassy touch.

The diaper bag is 17x11. It has lots of pockets inside and out and a changing pad. This is a great value at $28.00
